Barbara,

This is an excellent chapter about all the decisions a woman in Anna's situation has to make, and as you said, often without any help. It can be daunting, and I was not bored. I enjoyed this post and couldn't find anything to criticize.

I did not think it was boring at all and loved it as much as the other chapters. You have done a great job showing how this affects lives and I thank you. Had some relatives that have gone through this and it is a shame. Great job again,Barbara. Queenise

I didn't think the chapter was boring. You still brought out emotion in both Anna as well as Paul and his wife. You did an excellent job as always.

Hi, Barbara. I didn't think this was boring. Like you said it is necessary for the story. The reader needs to know what the abused woman plans on doing. Wouldn't this man's hypersensitivity show up while dating? I dated a fellow who bragged about beating up his father. I refuse to date him after that. Years later I met his wife who had divorced him. She told me he beat her. If a man shows any of these tendencies, the woman should not go out with them or marry them. April

Hi, Barbara, everything suits like a puzzle this time. But I see you have those little nagging thoughts to elaborate for next chapters ... A very delightful read.

Hullo Barbara ...

You suggest that this chapter might be somewhat boring but I did not find it so. It projects a good lesson, not only to abused women but to all who wish to attain something, showing that the financial aspect should be faced and worked out before decisions are made.
There are just a few small changes to recommend ...

* You have - Anna, Margaret, Betty leave (present tense) to look for at two possible apartments. As this story is being written in the past tense, I suggest - Anna, Margaret and Betty left to look at two possible apartments.
* You have - will give us an estimate of how much the utilities run. I suggest - an estimate of how much the utilities will cost.
* You have - the average electric is about $200 month.
I suggest - the average monthly electricity account is about $200.
* You have - You're representing me for free and now making .... please no! 'for free' - although so commonly used now - is totally ungrammatical. Things can be free -
free of charge or for nothing but never 'for free.'
* You have - or in his case, a large sink. Whichever
you're more comfortable with. I suggest .... a large
sink, whichever you're more comfortable with.

I look forward to the next chapter.
Love from ..... Nanette Mary.

The first suggestion, It is a discussion I am having with my readers, not part of my post, I am talking to them in present tense. Thank you for your kind review and assistance.

Hello

Boring no WAY
Who ever gave you an average rating for this chapter doesn't realize the fear that so many Abused women go through..

I could feel the concern Anna had --
Thank God she has others who are willing to advice her what to do.

Gert

On my previous post, I received a three because it was boring. He also said Betty was too domineering. I was just covering my bases. I appreciate your kind review.

It wasn't boring. Life and living require one to make such calculations. Anna was a little paranoind about Paul playing with the boy. Some men love to have interaction with kids, while others like Booby, cannot even have a decent relationship with their own progeny.
