Thank you for your kind review and support. I have Paul talking with Anna about the divorce in the next post and I am afraid, I have too much legal stuff in it, and some readers will find it boring. I am trying to whittle it down to only the important stuff. We shall see.

I really like the subject matter here. It brings to the forefront the feelings that the abused feel. My mother was an abused wife but she herself broke the cycle. I admire her for what she did.

chapter six which is 21 on FS is smartly written. Your descriptive writing and dialogue are excellent. I'm happy you've posted, but I got behind reviewing again so I'm just now reviewing this chapter. Troy tells his dad what he learned. Anna meets Paul in a coffee shot. Good for Paul having her sign the papers to file civil charges for assault against her creep of a husband. Anna's so fearful and justly so that Bobby is going to kill her once he's out of jail. Oh the drama and tension. I love what Paul told her after Anna said "Bobby told me I was dumb." And Paul replies: "He's a jackass and bullied you." Amen,I concur. I like the end where Paul left a message with Troy. I look forward to reading the next chapter. My recommendation for this chapter: Barbara has written a riveting chapter and I'd recommend her entertaining book to all as a must read. Thanks for sharing, my friend. I hope you're feeling fine. Me, I'm ready to do the funky chicken.

Paul is helping Anna escape Bobby. He is advising her on what to do, but she has to make up her own mind. It will be scary for Anna because she has apparently never had to make major decisions in her life. She will have to take control of her life.

Anna is exhibiting the classic symtoms of somebody who has been brainwashed by their batterer into believing that they have to stay in the relationship for their own good. These same symtoms that Jaycee Dugard says kept her from running away from her captors.

This continues to really educate about the world of spousal abuse, while also entertaining and remaining suspensful. This is a worthy and wonderful work. I'm very glad to read that you have been able to eliminate some pain. I'll be really glad when you are in complete remission.

Anyone who is in an abusive relationship will be able to grasp a little hope from reading this. There are people out there who can help, a lawyer can sort out so much and with the support of the underground carers Anna and Michael's safety can be maintained. Troy's dad hasn't much time to get moving on keeping Bobby safely in jail. I am very impressed how much research you have done on this issue - you have taught me such a lot. I am glad to hear that you are able to control your pain a little. I think of you and pray for you. It is a long hard journey, just keep being pain free in your mind and travel a step at a time. xxxxmouse
