Interesting turn of events, Barbara.
The chapter is clear and the happenings are getting quite dramatic.
The relief of Anna having been found, safe and sound, is also felt by the reader, who had been worried.
The honest and sincere spirit of Troy and his family are well depicted and inspire the reader, for times are bad and few can be trusted.

Well I'm happy that Anna's whereabouts has been found and she is safe. Troy and his Dad is in charge now and Anna's future looks a lot brighter. This story is really interesting and well written.

Hi, Barbara. This is written well. It makes me sick to think that some women are abused by men. It makes me wonder what has happened in those men's lifetime to caused them to hate so much and find so much pleasure in hurting women. It bothers me to read stories where men go into detail showing how a woman or child is abused physically and sexually. I wonder if the writer is getting some pleasure from writing about this horrible stuff. Could reading such stuff get a disturbed person off on the wrong track? I wonder. It really worries me when so many people happily respond to writings with detailed abuse in them. Maybe the writers and some people who get pleasure from reading such things need help.
Anyway you are writing a good story about finding help for people caught in such situations. Thank you for sharing this story with us. April

Thank you for your kind review and support. I appreciate both. Usually men were abused as children and/or watched their father's abuse their mother's. I am sure some of them are just sick people.

Wow! I felt the excitement myself when Troy saw Anna. I am happy too! Unbelievable that his aunt played a more integral role besides sketching. It heats the story up nicely. I want to see the look on Troy's father's face when he finds out too. Great writing, and I anxiously await the next story.
