Hmmm...this was very interesting to read. Your descriptions and action scenes, (Well, the vast majority of it seemed to be an action scene) could not help but feel a little bit unoriginal, (what with all the portals, and the Talismans, etc) but I suppose that is an unfair thing to say...I suppose a fantasy without these things is like a science fiction without spaceships! All in all, your writing was quite good, and I enjoyed it.

Hmmm...this was very interesting to read. Your descriptions and action scenes, (Well, the vast majority of it seemed to be an action scene) could not help but feel a little bit unoriginal, (what with all the portals, and the Talismans, etc) but I suppose that is an unfair thing to say...I suppose a fantasy without these things is like a science fiction without spaceships! All in all, your writing was quite good, and I enjoyed it.

Love your sensory appeal to non-visual senses too in passages like the one about the darting forked tongue and the hissing sounding like hot boiling steam
