This chapter makes the reader really feel the family connections in an organic way. I felt like I too was visiting with Troy and his parents. The way you make the warmth jump out without it being cliched is impressive.

The family scenes are nice, but I'm still wondering what purpose they serve. Are they character development for Troy? Do they show that Troy has powerful people working for him. I"m sorry if I just sound harsh. We already know that Troy and his dad are on the trail of Anna. That's all.

Finally we get a look at What Troy does for a living. I never guessed that heowned the bookstore. I thought there were building inspectors who inspected construction work as it progressed and had to give their okay on it.

The search for Anna goes on. A new character appears in this chapter. Everett, the private investigator, is on the case and has taken the lead in the search for Anna. This story is well written and the interest is building. Great dialogue and story.

i havent read many chapters of 'lonely hearts meet' but once again have wrote an excellent chapter that is beautifully crafted, i love your dialogue it is very real. my only problem with all dialogues is that it can never represent real life-how we talk over each other interupt each other etc
