LOL, I really enjoyed this ploy to avoid the bath for the day. Some jolly terrible creatures behind the door and very good reason to keep on this side. I smiled all the way down the poem. Well written and presented. Best wishes for the contest. I enjoyed. luv jada

Cute poem with very descriptive words used in it to help bring the poem to life. Loved the ending also. How true that could be...kathleen

I sure had fun reading this one! I loved that you used unual words to get your description across. The picture was fun and the rhyming was good. You have the heart of a child and it shows! "More please" lol

Crazy critters is the one most like this in my portfolio but there's plenty of other silly stuff in there if you have time to poke around...

Good rhyme, good poem...good fun! What else would a good poem require, apart from an appreciative reader...we're all here and maybe happy, for it, into the bargain. I suppose we're smiling a lot as well. I'm also glad that a 'writing prompt' should be so effective. This may encourage more of us to consider responding to them in future. A good prompt and reply. Many thanks to all, Ewen

This really made me laugh! Thank you for sharing it! I am glad you didn't mention the nasty demon from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy - the one living within the Mines of Moria!

I wouldn't want to find THAT behind a door in my mum's house! I don't think my cats would appreciate that either!

You have all kinds of little nastiness behind your door. This is a well written poetic verse with some very descriptive language in its poetic views. It was my pleasure to have read and written this response for... John

I think this is great.
It's funny, the rhymes and rhythms are great, and who would of thought so many scary creatures could be hiding behind one bathroom door ?
Best of luck in the contest.
