Good extract from you novel. You opened slowly showing your two main characters and then when they reached the house the pace quickened.
I see this is chapter 7 and this is the team to look for paranormal activity so perhaps we were learning about them for the first time, not sure.
You have a typo where you use unto instead of onto, you could correct that on line if you wish, it is when the van is getting back on track, do you really need the word 'two' there?
It sounds a gripping tale to me thank you Nanna

This chapter really works. Your description of the vanishing ghost was so vivid it was easy to picture it. Mis is also coming alive as a character.

I love reading your stories in some ways they are better than the ones on T.V. Your description of the hell hound and the ghost woman are very believable.
