This is a cute and apt illustration of how a day in the bumbble bees life might seem. His bum must get very sore and the reason I am here today is to catch up. Thanks for the reads!

Welcome back, Alex! I've missed your unique posts, and your amazing humour. LOL
"Ma bumble bum is meant tae be,
an' a beautiful sicht ye'll niver see."
I suggest in the last line,
"a more beautiful sicht ye'll niver see." - if you've got it, flaunt it!
Love that Scottish burr ...

Don't you dare stop writing in this vernacular, Alex. I love listening to accents, especially when they're reading poetry, because it definitely adds charisma. I have an acquaintance who claims to be Blackpool's Tesco Poet, and he talks like George Formby. Luckily the majority of his poetry is humourous, so that's just as well, because I'm laughing as soon as I hear him begin! Take it from me, Alex, you'd be sorely missed if you thought of giving this excellent talent away. Keep it coming, young Scotsman! Regards, Mary

Great to see you back, my Scottish friend.
Have missed your musical verse.
Was out hiking the other day and I saw this charming sight:
Ah fly aboot wae a heavy bumbly bum,
lookin' fur fluers in the midday sun.
So happy to have you back with us. What have you been up too?

Alex, how lovely to see you and your bumblebee - I love how the bumblebee has a bumbly bum - Your humor is great, as always. Your rhyming couplets are strong, the dialect still makes me smile as much as ever, and the cadence is steady, a joy to hear you read aloud :-) Any day you post is a good day. Brooke
