A lot of truth in this story so if it is fiction you have a believable write. The dialog moves your reader down the page with your story and the characters were good enough that this reader found herself participating in what they were doing...good stuff. xoxo Kiwi

It was an eye gluing story. Honestly I want to choke the living hell out of Katie and slap Rita! Well written story, a bit too long but it was good. Keep the story going!

This is one of those stories that engaged me immediately and didn't let go until the last word. I don't know what I would have done if one of our children had acted like Katie, but I do know their father would have done. He was a cop (the good kind) he was 6'3" and wore a gun strapped to his belt. He never laid a hand on our children..it was me who spanked them. He only had to give the a look and they straightened up like little soldiers. We took great pains to teach right from wrong and for us it worked. Kids like Katie may not have been so easy...some kids have a bad streak no matter what their parents do. She put both you and Rita through such hell and I wonder how old she is now and if her behavior has improved? Another well written story from your talented pen. Worth six stars in my book!

You husband chose right! The best hand... I am sure he would have if he needed to. The disaplinarian was my father, but I had his number down. The true authority was Mom and I realized that when I called her a bad name and she swung a wet diaper like a baseball bat and laid me out.
My parents took great pains as well, but Rita allowed her emotions to be manipulated and the cops had their own aggendas and policies. That one will be made clear in the next two chapters.
Wow! What can I say about this review and generous rating. More then I hoped for here and it made my day. Wait a minute, that's the next chapter... LOL Mike
