Here! Here! I also don't believe that a poem, of any length, should be reliant on extra after-notes to explain or justify. Bazinga is Beautiful. This Zinger contest baffled me. Didn't enter. Too many perfect words to choose from. Yours is one of the very few that aren't about God, fyi. Good luck.

Thanks Patti... those author notes to me shouldn't be included to explain your word as it should stand alone for the reader to enjoy, ponder or question. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts with me. Bazinga to ya my friend. John

And so the camel was the wisest one of all with his smirky grin he said,"Bazinga." which could be any word thus is every word.
The power to create thought through new words, to manipulate through words, to laugh with lots of 'bazinga' or to cry feeling the depth of 'bazinga' or love so much that you're going 'bazinga'

Have a 'bazinga' day. You big 'bazinga' you!!
Thanks a 'bazinga'.

Thanks for reading and your comical commentary. I hope that you as well have a 'bazinga' good day. Honestly, I learned this word from watching "The Big Band Theory", a thursday evening sit-com which just cracks me up. Have a great day and bazinga to you to!

I find this 'word' fun, delightful and completely off the wall. And the accompanying picture just adds to it all. I also appreciate that you didn't feel the need to plead your case in the author notes. Job well done.

Thanks gl... I'm glad you stopped to look at this silly word which always cracks me up. I seeyou're new to the site, welcome. When I get a little more free time, I'll look at your stuff. Feel free to look at some of my back stuff (the more recent ones have been getting better then the older ones). Take care...

Hi there.
BAZINGA! If I'm right, then: Bazinga is a catchy phrase to accompany a clever prank. Popularized by Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory.

Then you have come up with a cracker!

Good luck in the contest.
Regards, Pete.

I'm giving you a four instead of three because the word is quite unusual and 'neato' but four instead of five because I don't know what it means. I think you SHOULD use your author's notes to explain things the reader might not otherwise know or understand. I don't personally see what is wrong with that...it's just an explanation...not a plea for a higher rating or an addition to the piece or a commentary on it or jibber-jabber...

Thank you... FYI : bazinga is a quirky word used with a clever type of a prank. I don't agree with your criteria of not a 3 but a 4 and not a 5, but thats your option.
