This is perfect for the Dark Club! It's spooky and eerie! I love the description of the lover walking to the graveyard. The last stanza is the best, "I take one last breath before I grant you Graveyard Kisses. Which I assume is the kiss to join her lover in death. A winner!

I see you won a crown for the dark club...good for you! Your dark poems are always a pleasure to read. This poem speaks of the loss of a loved one and how difficult it is to move on. I know because I have been there. The grief eases some but it lurks about just waiting for the chance to attack again. I like the notion of giving graveyard kisses...it is original and creative. Another great poem for the dark club....chey
