What a clever way to get Anna to relax - a delicious icecream. Troy's dad is a very clever man as well as being king. You can hear Anna starting to relax and trust him as the conversation progresses. I just hope Bobby doesn't turn up at the hospital before Paul returns. xxmouse

The story is moving more into a positive light, as the much needed ray of hope comes clearer. It was thoughtful of Troy's father to bring Anna a sundae. That helped relaxed her confused mind, and break the ice. I think this is another great chapter, that leaves me anxious to read the next one.

This all sounds so easy but men like Bobby do not give up without a fight and I'm afraid this one is just beginning. It is nice that she has someone who cares on her side, though. That counts for a lot. Great chapter.

the batterer because they do not have anywhere else
to go and even if they did, most often, it is not
necessarily a safe place. It is imperative these
women not leave until they have a plan in place as
they seriously endanger themselves and their children
