As usual Barbara, this is an excellent chapter. Anna's obviously will be drawn to Troy because Troy is so different than Bobby. I didn't see any spag.

I'm very worried about Bobby. They won't keep him in jail very long on a domestic violence charge. I wish Anna could get her baby and get out of town or into a shelter. Very good chapter, no need for corrections. I'm sure many appreciate the stats and help line. The statistics staggered me. My father was abusive to my mother both physically and emotionally, but not to this extent. She would never leave him, though.

Barbara, thank you for posting the stats. I was verbally abused by my husband of 57 years and never had the courage or the means to leave him. He never hit me, but there were several close calls. I believe now that he was bipolar because his behavior was so erratic, up and down. He's been dead for 5 years and I'm glad he's gone.

Wow! Those stats are shocking. How can this problem be so ignored in this country. Nobody want to see it, hear it or talk about it, especially the victims. Something needs to change and your a big part of the change by shinning a light on the problem. Thanks for that. Write On. -Dale

If a man murders his wife in our country he will get somewhere around 2 - 6 years in prison. If a wifer murders her husband, she will get about 15 years. I appreciate your kind review.
