Your essays are becoming increasingly clear which is evidence that you are considering your audience. Lennon's thoughts appear to mirror the Communist Manifesto: The oppressed people of the world will unite and take over. Property rights will be abolished, and everyone will work together for the common good. Eventually people will become so used to this way of life (the idea behind "the New Soviet Man" that was promised) that the governments erected to enforce it will become unnecessary. Based on what I have seen, Marxism has not worked. Throw in the secret police or KGB and one begins to wonder. Thus, you may need to address the Marxism perception in your essays. I do agree with Lennon when he said, "Love is the answer." Love is putting others before one's self (includes ego). Finally, in order for man to change, he has to take baby steps--learn to play nice, share wealth, volunteer, be more socially aware, and as the song goes, teach your children well (invest time with them and serve as examples unconditional love). Regards, Hector

I have often wondered if human beings have misunderstood the ancient prophecies. What I am beginning to understand is that we are on the cusp of a new way of life. And that the death and disaster that we fear is the destruction of ego. Something that we truly can't imagine.

I find that there are a few areas in this compelling write that I would like you to rethink and perhaps edit.

One is the name you have given to your ego. It holds connotations ansd powerful vibrations. Have you been empowering ego by lavishing such attention on it?

Another is the listing of the various paths to enlightenment. As I read this paragraph, I felt your preference. I suggest that you either expand or eliminate this section. Certainly you should omit the sentence, "No opinions will be offered from my end." This immediately causes the reader to focus on forming opinions rather than on seeking mind expansion.

I suggest that you re-work the final paragraph. All observations are valid and helpful. Sensitivity to painful comments is something I understand. But my higher self smiles, knowing that my irritation is but an ego trip.

Have you read the latest post by Rama Devi, the Paradox of Hope and Spider web by Pearlecat? I believe that the light of synchrocity is already beginning to illuminate this site.

My question to myself was, "How do I use... - add the comma
how we use our mind - our minds
John Lennon removed all lies from his life - I love his song too, but to jump from his lyrics to that kind of assumption about his life seems a stretch.
A good intro - it lays out what you plan to explore and keeps the reader interested. Brooke

Five star's for the writing,of your thought's on the subject. You are obviously a good communicator, and so a good writer.[I see the first necessary,to becoming the second] I can not join in this journey, and must tell you up front. I am one of those Jesus freak's,what many call a closed mind.I consider myself to have found my truth, and at most times having a 'peak experience' with Him.The bible tell's the believer that,'We have the mind of Christ'. We need only access that state of 'being',by fellowship with Him. I don't wish to be a point of disagreement,in your voyage. So I will drop out. Thanks.

I do not disagree with Jesus' being our spiritual leader. I do disagree with how the bible is interpreted by many...More to come...John

Hi John, I came to examine your writing. Your words conjure up much intrigue and I'm interested in your thoughts and perceptions. We all have inherent beliefs and I am not one to be easily swayed with human instigated beliefs. Rather, I prefer to study and evaluate other thoughts on this human race.
I found your introduction very interesting and want to peek at more of these thoughts. luv jada

I haven't done much editing on article-type writings, but will do my best. To my mind writers should use words and sentences that the ordinary man can easily interpret. Some struggle to make sense. Just a comment on general writing. lol. Have a great day. I have someone working on the poem I've just posted. Geez, it's hard in poetry land. lol. luv jada

I love John Lennon's song, it talks about the ideal world, and I feel it is possible if we, as a society, can overcome our ego to allow past 'conditionings' to dissolve and allow new paradigms to emerge. I certainly feel you have touched upon the 'inner' knowledge and I look forward to reading all about it.
I love your quote, "What's the difference between Ignorance and Apathy?" "I don't know and I don't care!" Many people in our society lives by it. They just want to watch TV and drink beer.
