Hello Mike! So, you're going to be writing some articles? Sounds like something perfect for you ... as long as you keep the famous Mike's Rambling to a minimum. LOL
Couple of things...

one job I would have loved doing is being a photojournalist.(either would have loved doing was being a photojournalist...or...one job I would love doing is being)

editors (may)my have their own ideas

I wasn't able to (buy)by scores of them to rub it

also a (doozy??)dozy as it was about expressing love

developing step-daughter to (realize)realized not only the love

satisfied with their(columnists) columnist's

I can't shop the op-eds out (the)they way that one should
(what are op-eds??)

    Thank you for the encouragement. Just found out they published a letter to the editor. Haven't heard like I was suppossed to on my latest op-ed so I have to hold it up a for a while. Thank you very much for your compliments and this review. Mike

    I think that's what it refers to. I found out they printed my letter to the editor, where I talk about Batlimore City Governmnet being like dictators. They created another historical site that they demand the company maintain, while they told the Poe House their on their own. It would be very hard for the Poe House to be self sufficient as they built projects around it and it is one of the most dangereous area's of Baltimore. I know, I got lost trying to find it and felt like I was in a third world country, both in pssychological feel and due to the negative aggressiveness of the people in the area.

Hi Mike,

I found this story to be very interesting from the fist line to the last. Before I forget you have a typo in the line below..I think you mean 'they' instead of 'the.'
, but to my surprise the replied back

Outside of that the lines are free of spags and very well written. I'm glad you decided to post Mike's Moments here where it can garner a large number of readers. You good writing skills are apparent in every line. Well done, chey

Congrats. I suppose, the talent needs to be out in everyway to express what is inside. Because you didn't get the opening in photjournalism, you came to know of other potential in you...writing.
I do hope eventually you do what you so much wish to do.

Do you write full time??

    No, I doubt that I would be considered a professional, but I try to keep professionally based in my writing... Besides have a little fun. Thank you very much for your review. You can approach you local weekly, but by far you shouldn't consider yourself an less because the most frequent response will be getting ignored. I had inklings that people do pay attention, especially if you frequently write. Also I think they admire a certain honesty about who you state that you are, but I don't think that opinion is necessarily important in the decisions to publish. I figure it holds a lot of similarities to the choices made to picking an actor, such as the ability to generate interest, origionality, humor. It's sort of how you develop yourself, along the way.

    My best advice is to remember your own posted works here and when something related happens is that you send them a link... Or two or three. At least by the open dates, you can have a sense if you generated interest. Mike

this is very well written mike, it sounds like your photography has taken you to some interesting places, i enjoyed reading this introduction and wish you well with your venture
