It is short, but that helps it be clear and to the point about what is going on. I didn't leave reviews, but I did go back and read the other chapters to get caught up, I will keep following your story.
PS one suggestion- you might look up the cycle of abuse- so far in your story there is sustained anger, danger and tension. This is not usually so- after beatings, the abuser tends to come in with flowers, apologies that it will never happen again (of course it does happen again, but he says it), and asks why she has to make him so upset that he hit her etc things like that. Reasons to make her stay-because she loves him and underneath it all he really loves her, too...

That is true, but toward the end of the cycle before the person gets murdered, the flowers don't come, in a future post, Anna describes how sorry Bobby used to be after he beat her. Thank you for your kind review.

Troy has found out where Anna lives. When he hears Anna being abused by Bobby he calls 911. He has gotten himself in the middle of a bad situation. Many women are so fearful of their spouses they will deny being abused. Bobby won't like Troy interfering with his marriage. He will retaliate.

I like the idea of him being the hero. It is not a good thing to go to the door. I can feel the fear in her and the frustration in him.

The backgroung alone is my life to a "T".
Anyway,
Romance fiction....... It seems like its so much like my life! In different ways but the same...

I will be looking forward to the next post with much anticipation and anxiety. Troy is in a bad place, not knowing if calling the cops will make it better or worse. Still, for Anna and Michael's sake, he has to take that chance.
