This must have been horrible to write. I cringe at domestic violence...unfoetunately it happens all the time. Great sentence structure. good, clean writing, good dialogue
--should there be a comma btween Anna and striking? Nice job

This is a courageous piece for a woman to write.
The crime of marrital abuse is too seldom prosecuted, but only because the victim remains silent.
You pull no punches in this one - and so it should be.

I just finished reading this and you did a great job with it. It's so upsetting to picture this kind of abuse taking place even though I know it happens every day. Your writing is very descriptive and I could picture the whole scene unfolding.

Bobby and Anna.... Well, I can deal with a little trash bin mouth, but that violence scratches at me. If that was non-fiction, i would want to take the baby. No one should ever have to endure that type of anger and hatred.
