Pets will take on part of their owner's habits. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for an easy read. There is very good imagery.

Thank you so much for continuing to read Harley's saga. He is sitting next to me, 'reading' over my shoulder as I catalog the reviews. He sends puppy kisses your way! ~patty~

Aww the last few photos I have of my dog are of her playing kneck deep in the snow, she was put to sleep a matter of a few days later due to cancer having ravaged her internal organs

I'm SO sorry to hear about your dog; I hope Harley's saga doesn't make you sad - but I do know you have a new addition to your family and I hope you're making NEW memories! ~patty~

I love this continuing story. It's about the little things in life and I think what makes it so good to read is how your words flow. It's an easy and enjoyable read. Each paragraph and sentence builds off those previous in a way that is very orderly, natural and easy to absorb. Nice job!

Thank you SO much for reading, reviewing and your kind and thoughtful words. Writing about Harley, Simba, and Leo does just feel natural for me and I'm so glad that comes across. ~patty~

You make your story come alive with all the little details. I could smell the coffee, feel Harley's puppy kiss and his frenzy at avoiding the harness. ( Guscott hates having his harness on) To see snow for the first time is pretty wonderful - I loved the description of how he bit it. Then his shiver as he gets cold and comes in for a well deserved breakfast and sleep. Delightful. xxmoyramouse

Playing in snow is hard work - that's what I say, Harley, each time I have to shovel my car out :-)
What an adorable look at Harley's first experience with and perceptions of snow :-) Brooke

Thank you for continuing on the journey with Harley. He was SO tired when he got done playing! I appreciate your time and generous review. ~patty~

The love for your pet comes across loud and proud.
Your narrative being skewed to be more from Harley's point of view is creative and gives the story a tone not dis-similar to that of 101 Dalmatians. I loved the descriptions of Harley in the snow. It made me reminisce about my own dogs first excursions when he was no more than a pup.
Your writing style is easy and accessible to any reader and I found it enjoyable.
One small thing I don't think you meant "the Mistress walked over the coffee pot". I think there should be a 'to' in there somewhere.

Oh Patty, what a journey through few hours of snow playing. Hurley has a loving mistress. A couple of hours routine and you bring life to it.

Hi Mustangpatty 1029
Well I love animals, especially dogs, so I loved your delightful and heartwarming story.
I only noticed one small spag:
Still cradling Harley in her arms, the Mistress walked over (to) the coffee pot.
Put 'to' in the above sentence.
Thank you for sharing, a very enjoyable read. Pete
