Wow, He must have been pretty sure of her to go to all that expense before he asked to to marry him. You'd have to really know a person well to know how they would react. Most brides want to make all the decisions themselves. This has been taken out of her hands but so has a lot of stress.
How romantic can you get? All I can say is wow.

Great romantic story. You have a talent for bringing your characters to life and involving your readers in the story as the plot unfolds. Good job, good writing. Pickthorn

When a person wants a story to be engaging, it usually isn't'. sorta like a 'much too reviewed movie." However, you have a gift to entertain.

Barbara,
I loved chapter thirty-five and I'm happy you posted this chapter. You did an superb job writing this chapter in your romance. Joe is my favorite male character you've written. Sara was thrilled by his surprise wedding. Ginger Moore had to say something nasty, what a bitch. Your dialogue is excellent and your narrative is superb. I'm a sucker for a happy ending, unless Sara will throw a wrench into it. I noticed you have eleven pages. Post them! Keep on kicking cancers butt!
Melissa.

Such a romantic post. I'm a crusty old guy, but I got a little teary eyed on this one. You have a remarkable talent to pull your reader in. I'm invested in your story. Always warm regards, Bill

Because I don't typically read too many romances I can't say anything about the wedding thing being a bit too put together and perfect. Being I write and read murder and myham, tying things up doesn't mean everyone lives happily ever after. Well, I need the characters to come backa nd deal with outher stuff down the road. Two different genres.
Okay, I think this is a fun and wonderful book.

Before he could answer, she pointed to the roses. "The bride must love roses as much as I do." She stopped and stared. "White and yellow roses." She pointed to the archway. "I've never seen it decorated with pink roses (pointed- pointed too close together.
NOt here is anything wrong with this, but apparently one of your signatures is gulping. I rarely read it and your characters do it a lot. LOL.

hugs book

I try to switch from swallowing and gulping. I used to shake heads and got away from that so I will work on gulping. I will take care of the pointing. Thank you.

Wow, Barbara ! That's quite a terrific surprise Joe sprung on Sara, and, of course, her bewildered reaction is understandable. Another excellent segment for this wonderful story. Very well done, my friend.

Hi, this is a perfect way to describe a perfect wedding, wirh roses, beautiful dresses, and all. I feel like I can picture Sara in her gown, and even Cassie in her tea length bridesmaid gown. Lucky Sara!

This section is lovely, dear ... talk about misty-eyed dreaming!

And as for you ... I think of you often. I hope you are still showing up at school through all this? I am looking forward to your getting the 'all-clear' at the end of this treatment. xxx
