Well, I definitely missed some things, but it sounds like they might get a happy ending after all ... if she ever answers him. ~L~ Good chapter! Just one thing:

It's a little naughty, but tasteful.["] - missing quote.

Hi Barbara :)

You get a "fiver" for the writing and good dialogue exchanges. However, I can't buy the chapter concept. No woman is going to sit still for her man and family planning a full formal wedding without her being involved in every step. It just doesn't ring true.

You are correct. She doesn't know it happening. In my next post she will let Joe have it for having control issues. Thank you for the kind review.

    Hi Barbara :)

Nevertheless, Joe would have to be the most presumptuous man on the planet with a major ego problem to boot. It's unrealistic that his and Sara's family would go along with such plan. On top of that, He's not showing much respect for Sara's intelligence. In addition, Cassie helped him go behind her mother's back. I doubt any romance editor would go for such a plot flaw. You could've had Joe attempt to set up a surprise wedding and get shot down by family and have word get back to Sara. Especially dramatic would be having Cassie get upset and tearfully tell Sara what he was trying to do. You'd have your control issue and Sara's angry confrontation.

Joe has dug himself a big hole and would have egg all over his face.

Also, there's been no previous hint that Joe has a control problem regarding Sara.

It's only one chapter and should be an easy fix.

That's my take and it's just opinion.

Everyone seems to want to marriage to go forward except for Sara. Since it's going to affect the rest of her life, she has the right to ask questions. It would be a shame if they set up such a fabulous wedding and Sara said no.

Wow, that guy moves really fast. I had no idea this was coming. I thought he was just going to propose. LoL. Good work.

Hi Barbara! Nicely done chapter! I like the calm in it. For now. It's neat that he had stuff ready for the wedding before asking her. Romantic stuff Barb. I had a white wedding once, years ago. ") I hope you are feeling better this evening! Luv and smiles! Susan

Another great chapter. Joe is so wonderful, and I bet Sarah is in a tizzy with all this done behind her back, but how romantic. GReat job.

If nothing else can bring you courage and support, look at the blue ribbons and medals.
You are truly a force to be reckoned with.
I feel sad that the chemo is taking its toll. It is nasty stuff, even to the good cells.
Take heart that we are praying for you and believing in your healing. Keep writing. It is a source of joy to read!
Take Care.

Barbara,

I'm sure Sara will balk at having everything set up without her knowing a thing about it. As soon as I read about the country club being decorated for a wedding, I thought, "Sara is not going to like being pressured." But Joe's like that. All the same, it is going to happen. Sounds like one more chapter.

I enjoyed this chapter and couldn't find anything to criticize.

Hang in there. We're thinking of you.

Dave

Are you reading over my shoulder? Yes, Sara is upset over all the wedding taking place without her help. Thank you for your kind review.
