This is a rather surprising style for a poem, but not for a
lyric. You did very good, writing within the limitations.
There is just something about the night that heightens all
of our emotions. "...and too many moonlight kisses seem to cool in the warmth of the sun." That is a partial lyric from "When I Fall in Love," which expresses the night and day reactions to a kiss. I have always loved the nights.

Patty, you did a very nice job. I am not much into the poetic forms that pop up pretty regularly. In this case, the form and the poem are in an almost symbiotic relationship. Nicely done.

Lovely Whitney poem, you have created a lot of emotion in this piece. I love the images it springs to mind of someone alone in the dark with a pain they thought was gone returning to them and Him being there to shine a torch in the darkness once again :)
