This is an easy to read poem with a good flow and good rhyming scheme. The picture of Harley is adorable. You'll have to post some new ones to show us how he's growing.

    Thank you for reading Harley's poem. I don't know about being 'brave,' maybe a bit naive. I read about the breed, and I prepared myself, but there are days he just wears me out!! He is so lovable though and already a great companion. ~patty~

Awwwww, why'djya go an do that??? Now I gotta go and look for a puppy to adopt from the local pound. Really? I didn't need that right now. Hmmmph.

Hi Patty,
This is a great poem about one of my favourite subjects. I love dogs, especially puppies!!! He's sooooo cute :) I have a toy poodle and a foxie and they give me lots of joy. Jack Russells are another one of my favourite breeds. Good job on the ampeletum!

Hi Mustangpatty1029, You have written a great poem that describes the joy of puppies so well. He is really cute, no wonder you want to write about him. I have never tried this style of poetry myself so I'm not qualified to offer any advice, but to my untrained eye, it looks like you nailed it.

    Thank YOU for reading and the generous review. I've posted other things this week, and left the 'pet stories' for later. I needed to get back on track, and build a schedule because I start classes at the beginning of next month. I'm SO glad you enjoyed this, and it seems that it appeals to others, too. Cute photo. My Bull Mastiff would lick him up! Nice ampeletum about Harley. A nice idea to make poems about all your pets, past and present. Thanks for that write.

    Thank you for reading and the generous review. I think Harley wouldn't know what to do if he met a Bull Mastiff. Most of the books I have tell me that he doesn't and will never realize how small he is - so I'm supposed to be his protector! (Hmmm, shouldn't it be the other way around?) LOL! ~patty~

    Oh my bull mastiff wts.150# and is -scared to death- if my gr.sons.2# chihwawa..did I spell that right? anyway, she's afraid of her shadow.
