Good example of the ampeletum form, Patty. We have some pretty good mentors on poetry on FanStory don't we? I too have learned such a lot from them. As to Harley, he sounds gorgeous. Unfortunately living in a 'no pets' flat, I cannot have other than a stuffed fluffy puppy, and envy you the contact that comes with cuddling a real puppy. mmxx

Good example of the ampeletum form, Patty. We have some pretty good mentors on poetry on FanStory don't we? I too have learned such a lot from them. As to Harley, he sounds gorgeous. Unfortunately living in a 'no pets' flat, I cannot have other than a stuffed fluffy puppy, and envy you the contact that comes with cuddling a real puppy. mmxx

How sweet and light and bright your poem is - much like Harley's personality, I imagine. "Singing a puppy song" is one great expression. It certainly describes all the happiness within a puppy and the happiness he shares with others, too. There's a jolly rhyme scheme that suits the content well. Love the picture! Awww there is nothing like having a puppy or a kitten in the house. Although they need lots of attention they bring so much joy. This is a lovely poem and itis nice to see that Harley is enjoying his new home and his new life. Blessings to you.
