Bill for one I am so glad you divorced your first wife. Second I am glad you were with your grandmother when she passed away. That memory will mean everything to you. More than anything money can buy. I loved this story. I was raised on southern food too. Maybe that's why we get a long so well. Plus I would be at my family's bedide no matter what a bitching spouse would sa. Great job, Shirle

Shirley - you are one of my favorite people on this site. Sixes are great, but yours brings an incredibly big grin to my mug! I'm glad I divorced the first one too. My current wife just got back from nursing her aunt in Tucson and is now helping her Mom move. "If you ain't got family, you ain't got nothin" Quote from my friend Virge Gates in 1958.

Always a pleasure to read your work. Family is everything to me too. Husband # 1 was better but this one is trying. I am a patient woman. :-) I have great friends and my son, Shirley

Thank you for sharing this story. I love the Southern flavor and why would I not? I'm southern born and bred. I especially like the humor or your meddlin'. It's fortunate noone was killed. We are just now getting rid of all the snow from last week. It's just in time to do it again. ann

Thanks Ann - please don't tell me more snow. This is not why we live in the South. Thanks for reading and the compliment of the six. Both are greatly appreciated! Always warm regards, Bill

You are welcome. I know. If I wanted that much snow I would move north. :) ann
