As a dog person myself, I thoroughly enjoyed your write about Harley's first Christmas.
What a charming way to tell the story, through the eyes of the dog.

As a dog person myself, I thoroughly enjoyed your write about Harley's first Christmas.

OH, what a delightful little anecdotal story. I enjoy the story told from Harley's point of view. You have captured the heart and spirit of a dog with your descriptions. I especially like: tulip ears, his little tail waggling, the exuberant kisses of delight and love. This made me smile.

This was so beautiful and full of great emotions. the love and awe was all over this. I could see Harley trying to figure everything out, plus the new smells of food. I saw how he and the three cats all played with the paper on the floor. This poem was so full of love, love and love, I enjoyed it very much. God bless.

Those Jack Russels are such smart dogs, aren't they? I don't know if you classify this as prose or free verse, but it was great reading! It reminded me of my two cats and how they were so different when it comes to company. They hate it! Your story was very cute! Great job! V.A.
