Jack was this incredibly beautiful and smart cat. My love for him knew no bounds as for a short period of time - he was everything to me. Thanks for reading some of my old stuff. ~patty~

A beautiful choka dedicated to Jack, he seemed a lovely companion.
You write with such passion and your love for animals is evident.
Best wishes.

If I've heard of this form before, I've forgotten all about it. LOL I just love that you're willing to explore all these forms in your pet series, Patty.
Your poem is in perfect syllable form
I like your use of the wonderfully flowing Abyssinian
I also like the internal rhyme with on my own or all alone
And, of course, your expression of genuine emotion is most appreciated :-) Brooke

Thank you for reading and the generous review, Brooke. This is a fun exercise on the days I can concentrate - but a CHORE when I can't. Thank you so much for your continuing support of my work and struggle to learn poetry. ~patty~

Another enjoyable pet poem from Patty. I like the style of this poem. I am learning so much from your poetry adventure and writing down the structure of the poems so I can try them someday! Debbie

Hi Patty:)
Once again, you have introduced me to another interesting form of poetry. this is a simple, easy to follow format, but I prefer the Japanese Haiku and Senryu.
I appreciate your continued efforts to present all forms of poetry as you learn how to write in each format. Thank you for sharing. I also like to meet your many pets.
