Hi Victortouche,

You should add "The boy in the striped pajamas" to your reading list. It gives it a slightly different perspective, but certainly brings home the horror.

Excellent poem.

Excellent writing on this poem here about a Bludgeon. A club that will come knock him out. He compares it to Auschwitz, although I don't think he's that bad off.

The poem is presented nicely and the piece is very strong and flows smoothly. It felt sort of like a drum beat the way I read it and I really enjoyed it. Nice Work

Oh what a sad thing. It is amazing so many were lost and that those that participated in the attempt of exterminating could not feel the wrong of this thing. I pray rest comes to you and bless you for the compassion you have... for I too just see us as people...we are all just people..we all hurt we all bleed, we are all Gods people.

Yes, we are all human. What other animal species does this?

This tells of suffering and pain that arrives in human affairs, the dialogue is good, it could of used a little more expressive words but point still taken.

This is a sensitive message of suffering that reveals an even deeper message. I'm trying to understand it, and it's so sad. i can feel the emotions regardless if I have them right or not. It seems the subject of whom you write is beckoning death, or God to take away self - and not focus on what's going on, but focus on faith. I'm not sure, but this is a dynamic poem.

Thank you, and I would say you have it essentially right. Besides poems should not hit everyone the same. So your interpretation is by definition valid.

Your ignobility, a person of common origin or deemed to be of low birth is awaiting a beating, by a bludgeon.
This person placed within the confines of a concentration camp is showing pain from being emotionally beaten down too. This is another message of how horrible history can be in war torn countries.
The artwork's entrance of a "ghostown" concentration camp befits your poem. Well done.

A deeply heartwrenching and heart felt piece. The book at which you drew your inspiration, in a sense, is very powerful and you have matched the strength her with this poem/

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is a wonderful tribute to all the families that were sent to concentration camps and never made it out. The whole thought of the atrocity truly just nauseates me. You have written an exceptional piece about such a horrific thing. Great writing. Kathy58
