I gave it five stars because now that I"ve seen a lot of your writing (I"ve been reading...) this was too short and to the point compared to the others. But I liked it... a lot!! *G*
It is sweet in how it conveys a feeling of what you shared with the cat. The sudden dissappearance is so......like real life! Actually, it's a great job. Well done!

This is a nice poem tribute to a pet. Very well done in acrostic form. We used to have many cats when I was younger and I have fond memories of them too. Thanks for sharing your great memories of a special cat through this piece.

What a sweet story! Aren't cats amazing? A male cat adopted us several years ago and every once in a while he'll leave for a few days and return with a tiny kitten that he cares for like a mother. Where he finds them we never know because we live in the country at a distance from neighbours none of whom keep cats. I really enjoyed reading about your Gilligan.
