this is a sweet story about the relationship between a person and a cat that is touching and affectionately told. acrostics are hard because it is hard to maintain the flow.

This is a great tribute to a loyal and faithful friend, even if it is just a little cat. The acrostic works very well. I like the surprise in the poem . I thought you were talking of a human friend. cheers

Cute little verse and you paint a lovely picture of the cat's contribution to your life. You must have missed him when he left. Think it was good that you didn't mention him leaving in the poem. This is a lovely read!

I loved your charming, whimsical write one the kitten.
I do think that cats and dogs are our guardian angels.I have had my life saved a time or two by our furry, four footed friends.
I especially liked:
Guard the apartment while I'm in class
Await my homecoming
Nibble my toes and drink from my glass

When I read your top note, I didn't expect your buddy to be a cat, but I really liked the picture of him against the feline blanket! I liked your philosophical explanation of his disappearance in your bottom notes. I enjoyed your description of the cat in your acrostic along with neat rhymes.
