Love this, Mustangpatty. I remember reading your Prologue, and thought then how different this writing was going to be. I may have mentioned a book by Paul Galliano that is written in the same vein, and it really is one you can't put down. Looking forward to more.

Awww I knew that poor little Harley was going to get batted when he met the kitties. I have had too many pets not to know that one. Great little story. It looks like you and Harley are bonding beautifully.

Thanks for reading along with the trials and tribulations of Harley. He is actually doing well; he totally realizes that Simba is the LEADER of the pack, he can pick on Leo, and he has me wrapped around his little paw! Such fun at my house. ~patty~

I feel that this was a nice meeting but what does one do if the get a new pet that doesn't reacted kindly with the new pet or visa a versa. I've not had two pets at a time to consider this, except fish and birds but at no time did they meet

I'm glad things are settling down. Once again, you've captured the thoughts and reactions of the puppy so well. You don't rush with the details, but let them develop slowly and logically so there are no gaps in the action. I can't wait to read more!
