Only one ding: "Is dangerous to Cassie or me?" word left out between Is and dangerous. The emotion is high strung, maybe because of all the trauma and drama of late. I'm wondering if they are going to be able to make it. Next chapter?

Damn it!!!! I cannot understand her. First I thought it was self-esteem issues but now she's majorly defensive the day after he saved her daughter's life. It may be a case of nerves but she's about to mess up big time. She's lived her life under the thumb of unfair accusation and all but worn a scarlet "W" pinned to her chest, it looks like she would be happy to have someone around who obviously loves her and would be ABLE to protect her, should she need it again.

I'm thrilled Cassie is home and that she is safe. I'm not understanding Sara's mood swings. I would have been miffed at Joe's abrutness, too, but I wouldn't think of him as a dangerous man. Maybe the stress is getting to Sara.

It is hard to review chapters when you haven't read the book. This chapter had a lot of good points in it. You picked a good chapter to make your readers want to know more about the characters in this chapter.
There are so many character in this chapter and I am sure that they all play a valuable part in the drama of your book.
It is so hard to read our own work and find the mistakes we make. I have a question: Should this be, "Is it dangerous to Cassie and me?" and should this be ..."Ran to the door?" Instead of "ran the door."
The narrative part of the chapter is very good. It adds a great deal to the chapter by preparing us for the dialogue which tells and show us much more about the characters.

I will check those areas out. It is hard to pick up a book when is around 65 pages left and know what's going on.

Sara, I'm afraid, is starting to get on my nerves. I'm not liking her anymore - she is sounding like a broken record about her being upset with Joe's violence and temper, and after all he has just done for her and her daughter and all he has been through, I find her outright bitchy. I used to be really rooting for this couple, but frankly, at this point, I think Joe could do a whole lot better. LOL I don't know if it is your intention to have her be this annoying, but it really is the way I'm reacting to her. :-) Brooke

This chapter does require concentration in the first quarter, but in the end the major part of it flows very well. I was a bit surprised at Sarah's sudden change of heart after Joe just helped to rescue her daughter.

He saved Cassie and she should be tearing off her clothes and jumping the man. I hope this leads to a steamy sex scene. Chapter thirty is terrific and full of emotional action. My Mom had her colonoscopy tomorrow and the laxative they have her drinking in her water is making her go go go. I keep teasing her they are going to stick a camera up her butt and look at her colon and intestines. Have you had your colonoscopy? I keep praying you kick cancers big ole butt! Love ya,
