This was a riveting chapter, and I'm happy Cassie made it out alive. I think Joe is definitely a hero, along with the other men. Why is Cassie now calling him Mr. Joe?

Cassie always did call Joe, Mr Joe, because Sara won't let her call an adult by their first names. This is a comprimise.

Excellent. The same good flow and descriptions as in the other chapters I've read are visible here. You've continued the good relationships between those having conversations and they are easy to follow. Hope there's no more bloodshed coming! There's no rush that I know of to finish those 70 pages,so take it easy and rest as ordered. It's not worth missing Christmas at home Well done. Thanks.

Excellent. The same good flow and descriptions as in the other chapters I've read are visible here. You've continued the good relationships between those having conversations and they are easy to follow. Hope there's no more bloodshed coming! I especially loved the conversation with Cassie and Sara and how Joe kept trying to shut her up about all those "details" that would prove worrisome to her mother. LOL Great action, natural dialogue, strong build up of suspense and then an exciting resolution - this is one attention-grabbing chapter, Barbara. Now, rest some more :-) Love, Brooke
