Mustangpatty,

Very nicely done piece of challenging poetry. Great use of nouns and adjectives as well as alliteration. Well done.

Thank you so much for reading and the generous review - I especially appreciate your praise of this poetic form - learning something new - and doing it well - is always the goal! ~patty~

Hi Patty:)
A perfectly constructed Diamante Poem. Of course since pal and buddy are synonyms, the descriptive adjectives are interchangeable. That is perfectly all right because you stay within the rules.

I can't think of a better description of an energetic and loving puppy.

Thank you for sharing. Irish hugs for a great poem,

Roger

This is the first time I have seen this form of poem - the diamante.
It certainly does show that Harley is a very happy puppy.
A lovely way of showing that your new family member is settling down.
I look forward to reading more about this wee pup.

Harley is still trying to get use to his new home. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very easy read. Merry Christmas.

That's neat, I like the diamante style Patty and it is attractive in Red.
Your fun colored poem matches the photo and dog to a T, still just a pup by the looks and lots of fun!
The notes are really handy and detailed, good for a bit of late night study which I always like and saves a trip to Wiki too!

Thank you for reading and the generous review. That is a picture of Harley - he is 9 1/2 weeks old. I admire other writers that include the dynamics of their poetry style, and I will continue to do it - glad it helps you, too! ~patty~

Yes on adding notes, I try to do so where I find necessary.
    Good luck with your chapters!

Thank you for reading and the generous review. I wasn't very familiar with many of the poetry forms used by others on the site, and then when I ordered this book, I was bowled over!!! So, I'm hoping I can do the 42 different kinds justice. THANK YOU ~patty~

Patty, I'm in love with Harley.
Your words express such sincerity and feeling towards him.
Thank you for the Authors notes, which helped me conclude....your Diamante was perfect.
Remind me not to attempt one...too complex.
Best wishes.

SSS - you could do a Diamante with no problems at all - I read your stuff, and I'm pretty sure you could handle it. (NOTE: the book says it is the easiest format to handle - it is taught to junior high kids that are just starting out with poetry writing.) Thank you so much for reading and reviewing -- Harley is awesome, and you can love him from afar -- he's mine!! ~patty~

I like this poem but don't understand all the description of it or why. I am just not knowledgeable enough to know this things. Great poem.

I hear you on that one - I was feeling a bit lost on all these 'new fangled' forms of poems, so I purchase a primer from Amazon.com. There are 42 types of poems that the author explains in great detail, and I am going to write one of each - no matter how long it takes! Thanks for reading and the generous review. ~patty~
