The poem about a pet and the artwork complements each other. They are both nice and beautiful. The expression of the author about the pet is very real and truly what the pets are: "Cuddly warm,loving, licking, jumping, loyal, attentive...kissing" That's almost all what puppies do. Dom

That picture of the puppy is so adorable. Her eyes are so very innocent. I can't say I am too much of a fan of this style of poetry, but it still fills me with warmth and a fuzzy feeling as I think about all of the words describing the best friend a person can have.

That picture of the puppy is so adorable. Her eyes are so very innocent. I can't say I am too much of a fan of this style of poetry, but it still fills me with warmth and a fuzzy feeling as I think about all of the words describing the best friend a person can have.

I have to rate it five stars because it is about your best friend. I am a dog lover to the max! Only my dog is so big, I'd have to say really BIG things.lol. best luck.

Love the diamante style you used. I love writing them but haven't posted any. This was a sweet tribute to the little guy. He's a cutie. I think it would be good to either start with the fact he's a puppy or end with the word puppy so you work could stand apart from the picture if need be. Of course the yelping and licking suggest that that he is not a child. Enjoyed reading.

Thank you for reading and the generous review. Yes, I agree - however, one of the rules for the poem is that the first and last lines need to be synonyms or antonyms. I might look at my thesaurus and see what I come up with. Thanks for your comments. ~patty~

Without the picture, you would have completely lost me!!
"Pal ... licking"??? Perhaps your first word should be "dog" Just a thought. There is a problem when the photos do the "talking" for the piece, I think. Very sweet and I love the photo as well.
