Interesting little story. A peaceable ending to what could have been a brawl. My guess is this story takes place in modern days. Technically, the piece is fine.
If this is supposed to take place centuries ago, there are a few nits in the content. Christians aren't necessarily white. People who followed Jesus' teachings were not called Christians until after he died. And Muslims likely didn't come into being as a group until later, since they see Jesus as a prophet who came before Mohammed.
All in all, a great read. Thanks!

Hi Aislinge! Thank YOU! I wanted this to be in the present? So, hope it was okay. I know I pushed the limits a little, as I am no theologist...but wanted to try something different. Thank you so much for understanding!! Susan

Very good, Susan. I think you have captured the essence of many so called Christians attitude. They are looking for a fight and I wonder how they would react if Jesus himself was present. It isn't so much about the man as it is being right about their own position. I think it is a little like politics. I don't thing right or wrong plays into many people positions. It is which political side do you represent.

Yes! You are so right Beth. It's so disheartening too. So very much. I wish Jesus would come to us and appear on EVERY news channel, just appear...and speak. I really think that would change our world. All He would have to do would be talk...I believe. I don't know. Well, Merry Christmas Beth, thank you for being here! Susan

Thanks for sharing with me . A good write with good flow and imagery need no edit. Hi Susan do you think we could have a modern Jesus in our bars. Happy holidays and New year. Mary

This was very deep and made for good thought pondering. How we judge each other is sad and you broguht it out here so much. Jesus doesn't want us to fight in his name but to be good examples. Good one. Your friend, Cody
