This is a nice greeting for a card, however, using phrases like "does bring" and "does grow" in poems makes them read and sound a little awkward. Changing a few words could make a real difference, e.g. it could read "We remember the joy that having you in our lives can bring, filling us with light and spirit till our hearts begin to sing" and "Despite passing time and distance, our love for you will grow/still grows." Just one poet's opinion, of course. Keep writing!

    Thank you for your kind and helpful review.I have made some changes and removed some punctuation to hopefully improve the flow. I did leave does does in though. Being so ill makes it hard to see things sometimes.

    Perhaps if you find time you could have another read.

I'm relatively new to this site, therefore you are new to me. I think it is great that you are giving all of your friends a Christmas poem of holiday wishes. I hope to get to know you more as the years go by. Great poem.

A thought strong enough to write and post hoping all your friends have a Merry Christmas.

I read a few of your reviews but stopped when I saw you were having 80 degree weather... It'll probably be in the 20's here tonight with a strong NW wind. I would be happy with 50.
