We none of us know what another suffers until we are in that position ourselves. Life has taught me many things, but most of all it has taught me patience and tolerance. You painted a very clear picture with your analogies.

I am so pleased you understood what I was trying to say. Yes, sadly, for many the medication is worse than the delusions they often must deal with. They leave you drowsy, foggy, nauseous, shaky, unable to sleep, some develop speech impediments, poor memory, and depression just to name a few. Schizophrenia is a horrific disease, and the cure, for some, is even worse.

My daughter works in psychiatric. It is sad for those who honestly can't help what is going on in their mind. Then you have those that use it to get what they want. Your story is well written and I love all of imagination of colors and the tree. Good work.

I had to use my stay in the hospital for some good use. Personally, I recommend everyone spend at least two week in a psychiatric ward...it will do them wonders. Glad you enjoyed this one. Must admit, it was quite a challenge.

I can only imagine. I hear stories from my daughter. She loves working in this field compared to a hospital. There is just so much to see and hear and also can make you stop and think about your own life.

Thank you so very much for your generous review. I would never tell anyone not to take their medication but after seeing so many literally turn into waking zombies, it is hard not to have an opinion.

It was fun to read. I am having a difficult day because of the chemo and that place seems really good to me, right now.

Chemo is something I pray I never have to experience again. Take care of yourself and get all the rest you can. Yes, I can understand why a nice quiet place with pink clouds would seem appealing about now.
