Thank you for reading and the generous review. Yes, this will be a new addition for us, . . .and he will be coming home on Dec 18th. I'm so glad that the poem I wrote of my joy is getting such a warm response on the site.

Thank you for reading, the generous review, . .and your "well" wishes!! I have been doing so much reading about this breed, and I've known a few people that owned them, . . .and so it has been a long time coming - I knew that I needed to wait until I was retired to give the dog all of the attention that it needs, because when I worked; I would be gone up to 18 hours a day, . .and my husband travels at least 3 days of each week -- SO, . .anyway. The puppy is coming from Brames Kennels in OK. I grilled her per the questions outlined in all of the books I read, and I talked to people that have her other pups -- I feel confident -- AND, he met ALL of the criteria I had in looks, size, and fur type. AND, he is a boy!! I will keep you guys up to speed as time goes by - he will have his own stories!

your poem is very well written. Your words paint a picture in the readers head. Excellent rhyme, great narrative and very descriptive writing cap off you poem. Adorable puppy in the photo. I especially enjoyed the lines: "Knowing he will grow Pictures are taken Growth doesn't slow He is bigger with every waken'" Thanks for sharing your delightful ode to your puppy.

This is what we call freestyle! lol I enjoyed reading this poem very much. I love dogs, especially when they're just starting out as puppies! The part about terrible dog breath is hilarious. No matter how hard we try, dogs just have bad breath. Great poem, thanks for sharing!
