This is a great story. It is full of lust and Southern charm and intrigue. The ending is especially good. The lady let her libido get in the way of her better judgment. This is excellent for contest.

Thanks for understanding the Southern nature of this story (I knew you would!) What Southern women have to do to climb the male corporate ladder is often angering, don't you think? Thanks again for an excellent review.

Wow what a twist at the end and to think I was going to pass this story by. I liked the use of Lloyd's dialogue which I'm sure you used or rather he used to throw people off to his true motives. It worked for me. The whole story was well written.

Mainly I don't review the ones that offer a lot of money because I figure they get a lot of reviews and don't need my help. But I choose it because you wrote it and I've enjoyed your stories in the past so that's why I stopped in. Once I started reading I couldn't stop.

Quite an accomplishment! Not just one surprise ending, but several shockers in a row. Sort of an encore once the reader has learned about the caller's identity. Nice, because normally there's a clinching element at the end and the story's over. In yours, there was even more to enjoy. Great dialogue, and the recurring thoughts gave the prose a pleasant texture. Katherine's character comes across nicely through her thoughts, words, and actions. I think the reader is well prepared for an impetuous act on her part. Thanks for a great read!

Love the asides as the character thinks her way through the story.
Last line is disappointing only from a writer's perspective. Perhaps she should have waited for the clic,cick click.
