Lovely image of the pair of them, dear Baroness - quite a different image of Aubrey, too, from the one I usually have of a man so self-contained. I vaguely remember dancing on someone's feet when I was little, though certainly not as young as Lexi. An uncle or grownup cousin, I suppose.

Love,
Louise

Jan,
your poem is beautifully written. Adorable art work. Your words paint a picture in the readers head of a little girl learning to dance standing of her grandfather's feet. You poem is delightful in its musings. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day.

Lovely poem you have written about your child dancing with her grandfather. Very moving. Thanks for sharing and good luck recovering from your recent illness.

A nice flowing piece which says so much within your words that
are concise and most intriguing. Your dialogue is well written and expressed well with an emotional stance that lets for an easy read. A small piece but most big on word play.
Good writing.

Jan, isn't it wonderful to have grandchildren. I like it
when the grandpas also spend time with their grandchildren.
I think this is lovely. I know Lexi will enjoy having it in
her book.

This is a beautifully written and evocative poem It took me back many, many years to a time when my now adult grand children would love to dance on Poppy's feet. Bitter sweet memories of loving, dependant children. Old Father Time has a lot to answer for. Thanks for the memories Jan.
