You are very stong and have solid faith. You will pull through this all and will be able to pull others through the same in giving your true testimony. Full of encouragement still by way of your writing, God is truly going to bless you. Love ya

Barbara, I'm just dropping in to let you know I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Stay the strong person that you are and I pay that you will persevere and have this victory that you deserve.
I found this to be a touching and inspiring poem that encapsulates your present state well. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I want to send many Blessings to help you through
Many Angels when you aren't strong enough to fight
Allowing safe passage along the way in your flight!
This is a very lovely poem written here. I am glad to see you are supported by friends and loved ones. I love the picture which is feel is a fitting one to match the poem.
Wording content touches the ole' heart...
I've worked in healthcare for years. Your hair may not come out very much and sometimes it even comes back in different colors and curly too. I know things have improved a lot in the past few years.
I send my little poem and blessings with hope for your health to improve soon. MOuntainstar2..

Thank you for your encouragment. My hair is already naturally curly. I am hoping for straight.

I've seen that happen as well. You have beautiful hair. Either way it will still be that way. Blessings to you. Keep us posted will you? I do pray for the very best for you.

I imagine that would be a scary thing to face. You've described it well! I have not been through it personally but I have watched others go through it. May God give you the strength you need to carry on. Thank you for sharing this!

Oh my goodness, I so wish you well with your treatment.
You write movingly and powerfully about the battle you are undertaking, the minimal words being very effective in suggesting your character in facing the illness.
I'm afraid I'm not much on the prayer front, but if good wishes and hopes count as well, they are winging their way to you.
I hope you will soon be able to post a poem telling us all about your progress.
With warm wishes

Barbara God, how I know how you feel.
When I had breast cancer. I wrote this plea to God
I hope it helps you in some way
I will be thinking of you,--
Wait for the Mercy of God
I know I grumble
and quickly stumble ~
if a fleck of dark does appear
even if the sky is clear
in the great heights of blue
and wholly bright to view.
So what shall I do?
Wait for God and to be stilled
by one ray of His mercy gild
depart the darkness of my night.
with one streak of loving light.
'Now I'm thankful for His love my soul has been filled'

Isn't God amazing how he listens to us complain, yet still loves us in spite of ourselves. Thank you for sharing.

Barbara,
First and foremost, I'm sorry for your pain!
You put the words expressing fear and uncertainty together very well.
The end of your poem shows hope and love, which can win any battle!
Prayers for strength and healing,
Lou

Good luck with the treatment, I'm sure you will get through this ordeal. I sense a strong woman loitering within the words, she knows what's in store and is getting ready for it. My thoughts are with you. Hugs

How brave you are to be able to write a poem about such an invasive procedure. It is very introspective and you are lucky to have supportive people around you. Good luck!
