First of all, I am so glad to see you stirring things up again; probably annoying greatly those who are still enchanted by who is in the White House.You have given us an awful lot to swallow, and to be apprehensive about. What you describe regarding the tumult caused by the arrival of an American president is most familiar to those living in other countries. Jerusalem was absolutely frozen during these visits; not just a sitting president- even Condoleeza Rice rated all the trimmings-an enormous amount of security people, and almost total privacy on main roads. Obama is certainly not going to cut down. I only hope some of this legislation of which you speak can be undone, once he is voted out, before it does too much damage.

kind of cheating a little isn't it. I'm supposed to be reviewing your writing not memorandums from the secretary of state. I get your message. I don't think our fiscal problems are from Obama. I think he is just trying to prevent the fallout from the Busch administration. I dont think we should have spent all the money we have. It's time to start balancing the budget. Thanks for the interesting information.

Very well written although we don't agree politically. I also used to think politics didn't affect me, but have figured out they affect everyone and we need to pay attention to who is leading our cities, counties, states and countries--they are making decisions for all of us. i commend you for being aware, involved and willing to write what you believe. I best go now and fill out my ballot!
