I suppose if someone had never really been exposed to violence, besides the date rape which she probably doesn't remember very well, then they might react that way to a 'suicide by cop' senerio.
Poor thing, all this and the stress of deciding what colors to paint her house. ~L~ Nicely done! :)

Barbara, why do we let our feelings get in the way of our real feelings? I'm sure you get my drift. George seems to be a very wise man and I'm sure he'll end up being a valuable friend for Sara.

I could feel the isolation between husband and wife. I really liked how Joe and Sara interacted and the other characters as well, this flowed so well. I could also feel so much frustration and fear. Love the art. PS I pray your chemo goes well. God Bless

I thought this chapter showed Sara's stress and frustration with Cassie's disappearance better. Everything flowed nicely. I thought George's personality came out better here, too.

chapter twenty-one is terrifically written and technically excellent. Your dialogue is so natural. I'm like Jada I sure hope Cassie isn't being molested or raped. Sara is slowly learning to trust Joe. Dani is wonderful trying to console Sara since she's a mother too. I loved to see you using Nancy's art work to cap off your chapter. Joe explained why the two men they were watching were killed because of suicide by cop. (This happens more than anyone knows by the way.) I liked Dani's comments to Sara; "It's frustrating when the men do that, isn't it?" George had some sage advice while they were painting. Sara was tongue tied when Joe called as what to say when George thrust the phone at her. I look forward to reading your next chapter. I pray your chemo goes well on October 28. I'm praying for you to get healthy, my friend. I'm sending your a computer hug. Peace out. . .Melissa!
