Another very fine chapter. I thought Joe WAS going to kill Roy as he was so mad. I guess it not unusual that Sara was worried about that but I think Dani relieved her. You have a way of making your characters come to life. Also the conversations and descriptions are excellent. Well done...blessings, chey

Another very fine chapter. I thought Joe WAS going to kill Roy as he was so mad. I guess it not unusual that Sara was worried about that but I think Dani relieved her. excellent action scenes. We learned the creep who drugged and raped Sara showed up with his police chief brother, Chip. Roy is a sleazy creep. Good for Sara slapping his ugly face for badmouthing her and Cassie. Bravo the Joe for beating up Roy. Matt showed up just as Joe was slugging Roy. After all the fighting and name calling settles down Matt's wife Dani shows up. I think she and Sara will be good friends. Sara asks Dani if all the Task Force men were violent and Dani assures her they are loyal to the ones they love. She tells her they only use violence when it's necessary. You did a marvelous job on writing chapter seventeen. I look forward to the next chapter to learn who kidnapped Cassie. It was a delight reading your writing, my friend. I'm glad you got good news form the doctors. I pray for you. I have given you a pump.

We won't find out who kidnapped Cassie for about another 150 pages. Joe is will be searching and coming up with dead ends. Thank you for your kind review.

150 more pages. Dang you're as wordy as I am. I'm working on my flash fiction and I started a third flash fiction story. I need to stop it and use the first one I did.

"Is there button they turn their anger on and off? How can they control it?"

This is a very well written chapter. Sarah sees a dark side of Joe and is in fear of making a mistake. This has good imagery and descriptive scheme.

This was another great read from beginning to end, as usual. I am glad the sheriff finally got his due. It makes sense for Sara to have questions after she witnessed the fight. I was glad to see she got a swing in also.
