This is a wonderful read. We see a side of Joe that we never saw before, You leave the reader wondering if Cassie can accept the other side of the man she loves. Good dialog and pace.

So happy to hear the good news.

This is a well-written and interesting chapter in your book which I enjoyed reading. Joe, despite his great strength, is clearly a true gentleman and now Sara has a new friend in the person of Dani.
There is just one small change to suggest ...

* You have - I better get started. This should be -
I had better get started.

I really enjoy your book, but I like your author notes better. You still have a lot to go through, but it sounds like things are looking up.

"barbara," you follow good fiction qualities in this chapter. It has good characterization (stresses emotions, descriptions, and appropriate narration.) I'm caught up in the story action.
But I think it ends too abruptly. Perhaps I missed a stitch regarding the computer duty. Perhaps that's the suspense of what seh will find there. If so, that accounts for the sudden ending.

    I thought about postint the part three with this but it would have ending up being around 2400 words. I will post part three as soon as I have enough pumps. Thank you for your kind review.

This was a great read, and I'm glad Roy's dispicable actions were revealed, and I hope he is removed from office. What I can't understand is why Sara would think Joe would hurt her or Cassie.

I like this very action packed chapter. Well written, the wrongdoer is finally getting his 'come uppance'. Joe and Matt seem to be part of that special group of gentlemen, which is more than can be said about the 'sheriff's posse'.
I like adventure stories like this. I'll be looking forward to the next chapter.
No hurry, just make sure you are feeling well enough first.

See, this wouldn't have bothered me, then again, I would have castrated Roy a long time ago. ~L~ But that's just me. I guess Sarah is a bit more, um, mild-tempered. Good chapter! Didn't catch any nits. :)

I'm glad Roy got some of his due! The only suggestion I have is in this sentence -

"I'd kill any man who victimized the lady I love."

I thought 'woman' might flow better than 'lady.'

Great job as usual!

Another good chapter easy to read and follow with no difficult or wordy sentences. Plenty of action in this one, that Mark's got some front. Still Joe gave him a much deserved what for. Te he
