Fan Story has blessed me with friends on five continents, Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South Americas. How could I not find strength with that many friends pulling for me?
I too will be pulling for you.
I have just spent a day with a friend who has gone through what you have, at age 29 and has now at 39 had a set-back, but she fights on, brave as brave, like you are and will be doing.
I wish you all the best, and the successful treatment I know you'll receive.

I'm very touched by your true story, and poem as well. I had to smile at thes lines, showing how human you are " am a girly girl. I love pink, romances..." My granddaughter is exactly like that, expecting twin boys!

My friend, I have been praying for you, your family and all those on your medical team. Thursday is a big day - a day to begin healing... I will be thinking about you and will continue to pray. I have endured cervical cancer and after two sugeries, it is in submission. However, I will never be able to have children. This was caused by my father, so in a way, I'm glad I can not carry on his seed. I feel for you and your situation. I will send prayers your way. I've found that my prayers usually work if I'm praying for others. If I pray for myself, I'm asking for trouble...

I know, the humidity is awful. I can remember taking the kids down the streets Halloween eve and it was too hot for them to be comfortable in their little costumes. Texas has two seasons... hot and cold. :-)

My grand-mother and cousin both had breast cancer, they're both still here too. Never let anyone, or anything, discourage you. I hope everything goes smoothly and that your recovery is quick!

I admire your courage and faith, and that you don't let the bad experiences diminish that faith, but help it to grow. I've heard the book by Susan Summers, who conquered cancer, is extremely good to read if you are a cancer patient. Just a suggestion.
