Thank you for your kind review. No cancer was found from the biopsy of my last surgery. Now just chemo and radiation to make sure it stays gone.

Everyone anticipating the leaving. Will we follow him or her for the next chapter, it leaves a big empty spot when he is out of town. As usual description, scene setting and dialogue are all top nothch.

Tears entered her eyes and Joe dried them.
i'm wondering how he did it, unless the tears were rolling down her cheeks. but that would be too emotional for the scene. maybe have him do or say something else instead of drying tears in her eyes.

Excellent chapter. I like the way the relationship is going between Joe and Cassie. It is a good reading from start to finish. You are right, the artwork goes very well with this chapter. There are a few nits. I am sure other fellow writers have pointed out.

Great chapter. Even though Cassie is calling him "Mr. Joe", I'm glad that she doesn't feel awkward about the relationship that's developing between her mom and Joe. Lol, I remember when my mother remarried and it was a truly awkward experience. Excellent work.
