Hi Barb,
Most everyone in America seems to be concerned with the way things are turning out and you express this well in your short poem. I, myself, believe the reason things are happening this way is because sadly, God has been left out of our agenda. Even Christians stood back and allowed prayer to be removed from our schools and due to an ever- increasing fast paced life style many people, simply bury their head in the sand hoping things will change, but in reality they aren't going to change without everyone becoming united and turning back to God. It is my hope and prayers that soon they will wake up and this will happen. Thank you for sharing your thoughts giving me much to ponder on.

I don't follow politics as much as I should. It is an area that always bored me. I did not vote for the current President, but while in office, we as Americans do need to support him. I don't think there ever was any concrete evidence of him being Muslim... I may be wrong. You keep writing your feelings and belief, that is your right!!!

He stated he was to someone in the Egyptian gov. early on. I think it is quite apparent also with his attitude, rulings and the company he keeps. He hasn't attended church since his election. Thank you John for responding. Blessings. Barbara

Hi, Babs.
I don't know much about US politics, but surely this lot can't be worse than the last mob.
Can the Democrats rely on your next vote? LOL!
Anyway, you put your point very strongly and I respect your opinion.
Love, Ray xx

This sounds and looks a LOT better now.
It gives a clear and concise thought in a flowing style.
As always, rock on for the message you're bringing!
Have a great day,

I wish you would have been more specific about what makes you so mad. Maybe it's just me who doesn't understand the Kagan reference. Anyway nice to see you on line.

So sorry Marcella. It is in the book. Kagan is just another pawn of Obama's. They make me want to puje. sorry but snakes give me the same feeling of repulsion. Thank you my friend. Hope to get around more soon. Blessings. Barbara

The review, as far as literary merit:
Something bothers me
among many others [This is ambiguous. May other people are bothered? Or many other things bother you? Either way, it's not the mose effective way of writing it.
about this administration~
scruples
isn't a part of the agenda [aren't a part of the agenda]
With that last correction, the final line becomes fairly effective, actually, but as a whole the poem is a little flat.
The notes:
You're joking, right? Obama is not Muslim. He has spoken at length about his Christian beliefs and there is absolutely no evidence to the contrary: No pictures of him at a mosque, reading the Koran, or praying to Mecca. The entire rumour merely exploits the irrational fear of the Muslim faith.

Thank you. Corrections will be made. I questioned some myself and this is deliberately flat as to Not to confuse the message. Ti important to me. And yes I believe he is a Muslim through connection and attitude. It has been stated by him also. He spoke much and lied much about many things. Thank you for everything. Blessings. Barbara

I don't think scruples has ever been on the agenda, even that of our `founding fathers'. I've been politically involved with local government for a long time. Scruples has absolutely nothing to do with who is in office or what is being done there.
Good for you for bringing this out!

I feel your writing is very succinct and to the point. It gives insight to a cause and effect resultant that is either corrupt or grossly lacking. It is a shame 'scruples' can not be easily legislated for but can so easily be misplaced, corrupted, or all out missing from most legislation today. Thank you for your thought provoking piece it was appreciated.

Very straightforward, plainly spoken, clear as a sunny day, this poem express the author's sentimens succinctly without any subtlety. Personally, i'd love to see the same message said with more aesthetic and artistry, which would elevate and inspire more. HOwever, I congratulate you on your strong stance and boldness

Thank you Miranda. I write this way for a purpose. The message is too important to me to be artsy with it. Thank you for you view. Blessings. Barbara

I see and respect your stance. Without trying to be obtuse, I just feel aesthetics has a way of making the mssage more impactful, but in your case, maybe you're right, that that is the most appropriate way to say it.
