Barbara, I can feel the shyness that Sara has, and at the same time, the wanting and need she has also. Joe is a very patient and understanding man, at least it seems like that at the moment. I hope he stays a good guy. Keep writing.

The speech and progression feel very natural.
Should the Spanish be in italics, to differentiate it? I don't know.

I just love this story, each chapter gets me closer to Sara and Joe. I know Sara is in love with Joe but she is too shy to say the words. You have superb story telling skills making this one a joy to read and to look forward to. Well done...blessings, chey

Folk are so bloodymindedly cruel. They tack the name 'reviewer' to themselves and think that they are instant authorities, Poor Barbara. Please don't take it to heart. You are building a good story here, layer by layer. I do know about emotions, and having been a compulsive reader for most of my life, I can recognise a good author when I find one!
