This chapter works for me. The photo of Joe fits his description too. He surely seems like a really nice guy. Whipped up that spaghetti sauce in nothing flat. LOL

"Chapter 2 Part Two" is a fast paced chapter with a fair amount of dialogue and description. The conversations were easy to follow. I always knew who was talking. It's well written. As for a suggestion, I suggest maybe a little more narrative filled with some of their surroundings. The cooking was a treat and made me hungry for pasta! Well done.

Another sweet one, barb. Now I see the pattern of your stories. You're taking care of each of the important members of the force, letting us into their lives.
i really enjoyed the scene and dialogues here and have nothing to complain. it's nice to read about a different atmosphere away from the guys' duties.
just one nit:
"Is Dani a girlfriend?" she blurted. "Is she a significant other[?]" - missed the Q mark.

Wow, Cassie seems pretty strict with her daughter. Though, I suppose she's just trying to teach her good manners. I've fallen behind on a lot of stuff so I'm not exactly sure if the chapter works or not. Sorry, I'll try to get caught up as soon as I can. :)
